Y's Service Club of GCT Youth strive through active service to develop, encourage and provide leadership to the youth to serve the society. It was officially installed on January 5, 2019 and parented by Y's Men Club of Coimbatore Smart City. The club focuses on the personal pleasure of fellowship and shared ideals to get satisfaction by making our community a better place to live in.
Our Y's Service Club of GCT Youth was officially permitted in the college on October'2018. The official members were installed on 05.01.2019. The motive of the club is mainly to involve volunteering minds into welfare services. The involvement of most efficient minds with more creativeness makes the club unique among the west district zone.
Our History
Y's Men International (Y Service Clubs International) is oriented to serving the worldwide YMCA and the communities in which it is present throughout the world.
The membership of the Association consists of affiliated local clubs known as Y's Men's Clubs, Y's Women's Clubs, Y's Men and Women's Clubs or Y Service Clubs. The membership of each local club consists of men or women or both. No one is denied membership status because of race, creed, colour or national origin.
Y’s Men International Club is recognized globally as a service organization by UNO. This club is globally funded and also having partnership with International Federation of RED Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
Hereby, We started the new club as a part of Y’s Men International Club in the name Y’s Service Club of GCT Youth with backbone of our college students.
